I'm Mardino Santosa (Z Mardino Santosa, zdienos online), an independent full-stack developer and system administrator based in Makassar, South Sulawesi. I work on web applications in PHP — Laravel and CodeIgniter — and JavaScript, and on the Linux and Windows servers they run on. You work with me directly; there is no agency in between.
“We already have the source code. We need an independent developer to maintain it, fix it, migrate it or build on it.”
The previous vendor has moved on, the in-house developer has left, or the application simply outgrew its server. I spent ten years running IT at Transstudio Theme Park Makassar and four years as system administrator and full-stack developer at Kumalagroup, so I am used to both halves of the problem: the code, and the machine it runs on.
01
Keeping an existing application running: fixing bugs, chasing errors in logs, and making small changes safely.
02
The vendor is gone but the source code is still there. I read it, get it building and running again, and carry on from there.
03
Upgrading old PHP, CodeIgniter or Laravel versions and outdated servers step by step, without stopping the business.
04
A written assessment of a codebase: structure, security issues, outdated dependencies and what to fix first.
05
Internal tools and business web apps on Laravel, CodeIgniter, Node.js and React, with MySQL or MariaDB.
06
REST APIs and connections between systems, so data stops being copied by hand.
07
Slow queries, broken data, backups and restores on MySQL, MariaDB and SQL Server.
08
Setting up, securing and looking after Linux servers and VPSes, LAMP stacks and hosting panels such as CentOS Web Panel and aaPanel.
09
Moving an application to a new server or hosting provider, and making deploys repeatable instead of manual.
10
Docker, Git-based deploys, automation and monitoring for small teams that don't have a dedicated ops person.
11
Advice and hands-on work on networks (MikroTik, Cisco), servers and day-to-day IT for small organisations, from planning to training the staff.

1
Tell me on WhatsApp or email what the software does and what is going wrong or missing.
2
With access to the code or server, I check what is really there before promising anything.
3
You get a written scope and estimate. Work starts when it makes sense to you.
4
Small, testable steps in Git, with regular updates on what changed.
5
Notes on what was done and how to run it, so you are never locked in.
A short message is enough: what the application does, what it runs on, and what you need. I'll reply with questions or a first take.
